Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients with acute leukemia and hematology diagnoses in an IMC/PCU/Stepdown setting.
• Monitor patient vital signs, interpret telemetry data, and respond to rapid response team calls.
• Manage and administer IV therapy, blood products, and medications, including central lines and PICC lines.
• Implement infection prevention protocols and falls prevention measures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and modify patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately in electronic medical records.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license (compact or state license) in Ohio or eligible for temporary licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in high-acuity units.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology or hematology nursing experience.
• Extra certification such as ONS chemo certification or NIHSS.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and patient safety protocols.

• Candidates outside Ohio within driving distance will need to visit a fingerprinting location promptly; those further away will receive a fingerprinting packet.
