Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Float Pool (Nights)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36–48 Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays as Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting as part of a float pool
• Float to various units and hospital locations as needed based on staffing demands
• Monitor and assess patients on telemetry, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Document patient care accurately using the facility's EMR system (Meditech)
• Adhere to facility dress code (solid navy scrubs) and all applicable policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Alabama or a valid Compact license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• NURSYS verification required
• Current AHA BLS certification or Red Cross equivalent
• Minimum of 18 months of overall nursing experience, with at least 1 year of recent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• Must be willing and able to float to multiple units and hospital locations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry specialty
• Prior experience working in a float pool or multi-unit environment
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
