Contract | Nights | 5x8-Hour Shifts (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Monday – Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely and efficiently within the surgical services department
• Clean and turn over surgical rooms between procedures to maintain a sterile and ready environment
• Lift and move heavy items as required to support surgical operations
• Provide customer service support within the surgical services unit
• Complete required orientation activities on first shift during the initial three weeks of contract

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 full year of customer service experience
• 18 months of combined permanent experience in the surgical specialty
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — no pending renewals accepted
• High school diploma or GED
• Active, permanent Ohio state license in hand at time of submission (compact licenses accepted for starts dated 1/1/2023 and forward)
• Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from assignments within the past 12 months

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of surgical specialty experience within a single location
• Prior experience in a travel or contract surgical technician role
