Contract | Rotating Shifts (Day or Night, TBD) | 36 hours per week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide med/surg level nursing care to patients 18 years of age and older
- Operate within a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio on a 50-bed medical unit
- Utilize facility equipment including Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes
- Float to surgical, pediatric, or transitional care units as needed
- Work various shift lengths and days as required; flexibility is essential
- Adhere to professional nursing attire standards including closed-toe shoes
Required Qualifications
- Active State of Hawaii RN license required by start of assignment
- Minimum 2 years of med/surg or higher level of care experience
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work rotating shifts with no guaranteed hours or shift preference
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Current ACLS certification
- Experience with Meditech EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
