Registered Nurse – Pediatric/Neonatal Critical Care Transport

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Transport critically ill infants and pediatric patients via ground transportation from surrounding hospitals, emergency rooms, and labor and delivery/NICU settings to a higher level of care facility
• Collaborate with a transport team consisting of a Respiratory Therapist and an Advanced Practice Provider during all transports
• Provide expert critical care nursing assessment and intervention throughout the transport process
• Float as needed to provide bedside nursing coverage in NICU, PICU, or general Pediatrics units

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; active compact license accepted
• Prior experience in ground critical care transport
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• Minimum of 2 professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience in a critical care or transport setting
• Background in NICU, PICU, or Pediatrics nursing
