Multimodality Technologist – Radiology (X-ray & CT)

Schedule / Job Type
Direct Hire | Full-Time | Onsite | Weekend Nights, 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Call requirement every 6 weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging across two or more modalities, including X-ray and CT, under the supervision of a Radiologist
- Dedicate at least 25% of work to advanced imaging areas such as CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, or Interventional Radiology
- Conduct imaging procedures for both ambulatory and inpatient populations as ordered by a physician or licensed provider
- Follow established imaging protocols to support accurate diagnosis of disease and injury
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and applicable regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology or related imaging program
- Minimum of 1 year of technologist experience
- Certification in TWO approved imaging modalities through ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS (approved modalities include: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, ARRT-CV, ARRT-M, ARRT-MR, ARRT-N, ARRT-S, ARRT-VI, ARRT-BS, ARRT-CI, RDMS-AB, RDMS-BR, RDMS-FE, RDMS-OB, RDMS-PS, RVT, CNMT, NMTCB-CT, NMTCB-RS, NMTCB-NCT, PET, or ARMRIT)
- Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT), unless role is limited to MRI and Ultrasound
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital or acute care radiology setting
- Proficiency in CT imaging with applicable ARRT-CT or NMTCB-CT certification
