• Full-time, Day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide independent nursing care to cardiac and telemetry patients, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments following appropriate protocols, monitoring for side effects and efficacy.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication administration, and care plans accurately.
• Educate patients and family members about health conditions, treatments, and follow-up needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Manage patient care efficiently in a fast-paced cardiac and telemetry unit, adjusting plans as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a telemetry or cardiac setting.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate clinical competence.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for cardiac and telemetry patients in a hospital setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills.
• Familiarity with medical documentation and electronic health records.
