Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity emergency room setting with a 1:3.5 patient ratio
• Perform triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, and administration of emergency medications
• Manage ventilated patients, procedural sedation, trauma cases, and psychiatric holds
• Deliver pediatric emergency care as needed
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC and manage medications via Pyxis
• Float to other units as required and work every other or every third weekend

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of emergency room nursing experience
• Valid Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications required
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center
• Experience in a stroke-certified and STEMI-certified facility
• Familiarity with travel nursing assignments; first-time travelers are accepted
