Full-time, 3 shifts per week, Day shift, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit, with potential to float to other units as needed
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize ECG rhythms, and respond promptly to changes
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols
• Document patient care accurately and maintain detailed records
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to safety and compliance standards, including certifications and licensure requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent experience in a Stepdown or similar specialty (travel experience acceptable)
• American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (active and valid)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment during orientation (acceptable scores required)
• Ability to work at least every other holiday
• Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine drug screen within the past 12 months

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of combined experience within a single facility preferred
• Prior experience in PCU/Progressive Care or similar units
• Ability to recognize and respond to complex patient conditions quickly
