Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to labor and induction patients in a high-acuity Labor and Delivery setting
• Perform circulating role in the OB-OR as assigned
• Manage antepartum patient assignments as directed
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition and Safe Medicate assessments during orientation with an acceptable passing score
• Complete required pre-start and annual facility modules as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Labor and Delivery experience as a home unit
• Minimum of 18 months of recent Labor and Delivery experience
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS, BLS, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E. certifications in hand at time of submission — no pending certifications accepted
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in Labor and Delivery from an assignment worked within the past 12 months (co-worker references will not be accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC Stork electronic health record system
• Experience within a single Labor and Delivery location for the required 18-month period
