Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, Nights, 13-week assignment, 12.5-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to orthopedic surgery patients in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies
- Support patient education and discharge planning to promote recovery
- Adhere to all safety and quality standards to ensure patient safety and care excellence
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic or surgical nursing
- Ability to work night shifts consistently
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Familiarity with orthopedic surgical procedures and post-operative care
- BLS and ACLS certifications
