Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult cardiac patients on a telemetry unit.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including dysrhythmias, with proficiency in IV starts and telemetry management.
• Administer cardiac drips, following protocols without titrating for blood pressure.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with hospital policies, including medication administration and emergency response.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to equipment and unit protocols, including EPIC and PYXIS usage.

Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a cardiac telemetry setting.
• Experience with IV starts, telemetry interpretation, and management of cardiac arrhythmias.
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHP.
• Ability to interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias effectively.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Step-down or ICU telemetry experience.
• Prior experience working on a cardiac telemetry unit with similar patient populations.
