Registered Nurse – Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC), Travel Contract

Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Days | Onsite | Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM | Projected Start: August 10, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care
- Manage and monitor patients requiring ventilator and tracheostomy support, central line management, and telemetry monitoring
- Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
Required Qualifications
- Active Colorado RN license or multi-state compact RN license
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in LTAC or a related acute care setting
- Demonstrated experience with ventilator and tracheostomy management
- Knowledge and experience with central line care and management
- Ability to maintain a patient ratio of 1:6
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with wound care assessment and management
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in acute care environments
