Registered Nurse CVOR

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

• Lewisville, TX

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Days, 13-week assignment, 4 shifts per week, 10.5 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the CVOR, supporting procedures such as CABGs, VATS, and MVR.
• Assist with intraoperative patient management and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical team members, including RNs and CSTs, to facilitate smooth operative workflows.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems, specifically Meditech.
• Adhere to unit policies, guidelines, and safety standards to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years CVOR RN experience.
• Current and active RN license.
• Experience in general, gynecological, orthopedic, spine, robotic, and vascular surgeries.
• Ability to work on call, related to CVOR duties.
• Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Meditech.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Over 5 years of CVOR RN experience.
• Familiarity with advanced surgical procedures such as CABGs, VATS, and MVR.
• Strong team collaboration skills and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
