Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) – Outpatient

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | Onsite | Monday through Friday with occasional weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments to outpatient patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement established treatment plans and adjust techniques as appropriate based on patient progress
• Document patient care, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and injury prevention techniques
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure continuity and quality of patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Oklahoma or ability to obtain prior to start
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience working in an outpatient or hospital-based outpatient setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation systems
