Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an Orthopedic and Medical Surgical unit with a patient ratio of approximately 6:1
• Manage a full patient load while utilizing teamwork strategies and delivering patient-centered care
• Document patient information and care activities using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Collaborate with PCTs, Student Nurse Externs (SNEs), and unit secretaries to support daily unit operations
• Float to inpatient units as needed to take patients, and assist with tasks in CCU and ED as directed
• Adhere to unit dress code and scheduling requirements, including weekend shift obligations

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with or ability to adapt to Meditech documentation system
• Ability to manage a patient load and work effectively within a team-oriented environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an Orthopedic or Medical Surgical inpatient setting
• Familiarity with bedside procedures performed in an inpatient unit environment
• Experience working in a travel or contract nursing capacity
