Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite | Float Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department / Oncology Pod setting
• Float to designated units as required per facility needs
• Perform IV starts and manage patient care within a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor patients via telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Document all patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience
• Active, valid RN compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of submission
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Active certifications required: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology nursing experience
• Experience with telemetry monitoring in an acute care setting
