Summary
iDEAL HIRE is hiring a new ESE Special Education Teacher for our client, an educational institution dedicated to exceptional student support. This is a Full-Year Contract role, working in Jacksonville, FL, offering a pay rate of $42/hour.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
- Provide direct ESE services within general education classrooms and pullout settings.
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to ensure IEP goals are effectively met and implemented.
- Create a positive, engaging learning environment that promotes personal growth and academic success.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and coordinate support efforts.
- Participate in IEP team meetings, conferences, and professional development sessions.
- Develop lesson plans aligned with Florida Department of Education standards and school objectives.
- Coordinate special events and field trips to enrich the educational experience.
What We’re Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in Exceptional Student Education (ESE) or equivalent.
- Current Florida ESE certification required (Temporary accepted; NOT letter of eligibility).
- Passion for supporting students and creating inclusive, nurturing classrooms.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff, parents, and students.
- Ability to develop tailored curricula and assessments that foster growth and achievement.
