Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (3x12-Hour Shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting within a short-term acute care facility
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 in accordance with unit standards
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and clinical notes using Epic EMR
• Float between units and sister facilities as needed based on patient census and skill set
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing experience
• Minimum of 2 years of travel nursing experience
• Proficiency with Epic EMR charting system
• Must have a personal vehicle available for use during this assignment
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify under travel guidelines

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience floating between multiple units or facility types in an acute care environment
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Experience working in a large acute care hospital (400+ beds)
