Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 12-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of patient care
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
- Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
Required Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in LTAC or a related specialty
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- Demonstrated ventilator and tracheostomy (vent/trach) experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Experience with telemetry monitoring in an LTAC or acute care environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
