Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Late shifts required a few times per month | On-site
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Cath Lab / EP setting, assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Operate and monitor advanced cardiac devices including IABP, IMPELLA, ECMO, and flow wire during cases
- Demonstrate proficiency with orbital atherectomy, rotational atherectomy, OTC, manifold, and sheath pulling
- Participate in STEMI call coverage, including evenings, overnight, and weekend call shifts, with required response within 30 minutes of STEMI activation
- Monitor cases using XPER and document accurately within EPIC (CUPID module) when proficient
- Fulfill holiday coverage as needed and float to other campus locations within the health system as required
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Ability to scrub for Cath Lab procedures
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Must pass a compliance EKG exam (two attempts allowed)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Proficiency with XPER imaging system and EPIC's CUPID module
- Experience with the full range of Cath Lab adjuncts including ECMO and advanced atherectomy devices
- Familiarity with STEMI activation protocols and rapid response workflows
