Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 hours per week | 3 weekend shifts per month required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in a 36-bed acute care Medical Surgical unit with a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Operate and monitor equipment including IV pumps, wound vacs, feeding pumps, SCDs, NG tubes, suction devices, and Foley catheters
• Utilize lifts and other patient mobility equipment in accordance with safety protocols
• Document patient care accurately using computerized charting systems
• Participate in a mandatory structured orientation program including unit-based supervised training

Required Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN license or valid compact RN license
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Ability to work 36 hours per week on a night shift schedule with weekend commitment
• Mandatory attendance for all 7 days of orientation (Monday–Friday week 1, Monday–Tuesday week 2, 8-hour days)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Familiarity with Medical Surgical unit workflows and patient populations
