Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 4x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting within a short-term acute care hospital
- Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:4
- Float within scope to meet facility needs, including like units as required
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic electronic health records
- Participate in emergency response team assignments as directed during hurricane season (June–November)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience
- Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
- Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers will be considered
