Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical patients with a focus on orthopedic and neurological conditions
• Manage a patient assignment within a 1:6–7 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in every-other-weekend coverage, including both Saturday and Sunday
• Float within scope to meet facility needs across like units as required
• Be available for on-call assignment during scheduled shifts in the event of census-related needs (8-hour call requirement)

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or a Compact RN license; license must be in hand prior to start date
• Current BLS certification
• Willingness to work every-other-weekend rotation (minimum Saturday and Sunday)
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility staffing needs
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility; locals are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience, preferably in a medical-surgical setting
• Prior experience in orthopedic and/or neurological patient care
• First-time travelers will be considered on an individual basis depending on overall experience
