Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical patients with a focus on orthopedic and neurological conditions
• Manage a patient assignment within a 1:6–7 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in every-other-weekend coverage, including both Saturday and Sunday
• Float within scope to like units as needed to support facility census demands
• Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June–November) as required

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or a Compact RN license valid in South Carolina — must be in hand prior to start date
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Willingness to float to like units or sister facilities within scope as needed
• Ability to fulfill every-other-weekend scheduling requirement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience, preferably in a medical-surgical setting
• Prior experience in orthopedic and/or neurological patient care
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• First-time travelers will be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on experience
