Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | On-Call Required (once weekly overnight; every 5th or 6th weekend)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with interventional radiology procedures including biopsies, stent placements, GI bleeds, TPA administration, and vein sampling
• Support Y-90 chemo delivery procedures and GU/Renal, Peripheral Vascular, Pulmonary, and Endovascular Lab cases
• Operate and document within EPIC electronic health records system and manage medications via Pyxis
• Provide Phase 2 Recovery monitoring and support following procedures
• Care for a 50/50 inpatient and outpatient population across a range of diagnostic and interventional cases
• Participate in on-call rotation including overnight and weekend coverage as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active and applicable Interventional Radiology Technologist certification/licensure
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Demonstrated experience with Y-90 chemo delivery, GI bleeds, TPA, vein sampling, and Phase 2 Recovery
• Proficiency with EPIC documentation system and Pyxis medication management
• Ability to perform on-call duties including overnight and weekend shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
