Contract | Onsite | Rotating Day/Night Shifts (3x12-Hour Shifts) | Day: 7:00am–7:30pm | Night: 7:00pm–7:30am

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit, with potential to float to other units serving the same patient population
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry findings
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Rotate across day and night shifts as needed to meet operational demands of the facility
• Participate in required orientation assessments, annual competencies, and facility-assigned training modules

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry (travel experience may be considered for recent MS/Tele experience requirement)
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or active Compact State license required at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• Must achieve acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation (maximum of 2 attempts)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of permanent experience obtained within a single facility location
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation in an acute care environment
