Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical or procedural interventions in a PACU setting
• Maintain a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, delivering individualized assessments and interventions throughout the recovery process
• Participate in on-call coverage approximately once per week, plus one late shift per week as required
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs, including coverage on like units as directed
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Respond to emergency response team assignments as required, including during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license
• Minimum of 4 years of PACU nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in an acute care hospital environment
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to varying weekend scheduling needs based on unit staffing levels
