Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 2x12-hour shifts per week | Onsite | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:5, delivering safe and effective nursing care throughout the night shift
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in on-call coverage as required, primarily limited to the first 4 hours when needed
• Float to like units or sister facilities within scope of practice to meet staffing needs as required

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or a valid Multi-State / Compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
• Ability to work every other weekend as part of the regular schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIHSS certification
• Prior travel nursing experience (first-time travelers are welcome to apply)
