Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days, 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Every other weekend required (minimum Saturday and Sunday)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical patients with a focus on orthopedic and neurological conditions
• Manage a patient assignment within a 1:6–7 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes using Epic electronic health records
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including like units, as required
• Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November)

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license must be in hand prior to start date
• Current BLS certification required
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)
• Previous permanent or PRN staff must have been separated from the facility system for at least 1 year before beginning a travel assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience preferred
• Prior experience in orthopedic and/or neurological nursing strongly preferred
• First-time travelers will be considered on an individual basis depending on experience
