Contract | Day/Night Rotating Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 13–20 Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit setting
• Float to other units as needed to care for the same patient population
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately
• Manage care for patients who may require ventilator support
• Rotate holiday coverage as required by facility scheduling needs
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate testing

Required Qualifications

• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry specialty
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (travel experience accepted)
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of specialty experience obtained within a single facility location
• Prior experience caring for ventilator-dependent patients
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and advanced cardiac rhythm interpretation
