Registered Nurse – Telemetry / Med-Surg

Willimantic, CT
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 hours per week | Every other weekend and rotating holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a combined Telemetry and Medical/Surgical unit setting
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, identifying and responding to cardiac rhythm changes
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient treatment and discharge planning
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
- Active Connecticut RN license or valid compact nursing license
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience in a Med/Surg and/or Telemetry setting
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for stroke patients
- Orthopedic nursing experience
