Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care across a diverse patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics at a 1:4 staffing ratio
• Manage telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and cardiac and vasoactive drip titration
• Administer blood products and manage IV insulin and heparin protocols
• Perform tracheostomy management and non-invasive airway support including CPAP/BiPAP and supplemental oxygen
• Participate in rapid response team activations and deliver PCU/stepdown-level care as needed
• Accurately document all patient care activities using EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license) required at time of submission
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
• Proficiency in renal failure management, wound care, and wound VAC therapy
• 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with PCU or stepdown patient populations in addition to emergency care
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records documentation
• Background working with multi-acuity patient populations across all age groups
