Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Projected Start: July 22, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside nursing care to a diverse orthopedic patient population, including elective orthopedic and ortho trauma patients
- Perform IV starts, Foley and straight catheterization, and CPM (continuous passive motion) application
- Support early mobilization protocols and assist with nerve block pump and On-Q ball management
- Collaborate within a team of charge nurses, bedside RNs, and PCTs at a patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6
- Document and manage patient care using Meditech EMR
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Orthopedic RN in an acute care hospital setting
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Med/Surg nursing experience
- ACLS certification
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
