Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Primary Purpose: Support the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success of students by providing evidence-based behavioral assessment, intervention, consultation, and staff training. The BCBA partners with teachers, administrators, student support teams, and families to develop and implement effective behavior support plans, improve student outcomes, and foster safe, inclusive, and positive learning environments

Position Details:

  • Location: Lynn, MA & Boston, MA
  • Pay: Starting at $64.75-72+
  • Schedule: Up to 45hrs/wk

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Current Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA) certification.
  • 2–3 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
  • Experience working in school settings preferred.

Responsibilities:

Behavior Assessment & Intervention

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Collect and analyze behavioral data to evaluate intervention effectiveness.
  • Provide direct behavioral consultation and intervention for students receiving general and special education services.
  • Support students through a multi-tiered system of behavioral interventions (MTSS).

Staff Training & Coaching

  • Train teachers, paraprofessionals, and staff on implementing BIPs.
  • Model evidence-based behavior management strategies.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and updates on best practices for behavior support.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with school psychologists, counselors, special educators, administrators, and student support teams.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and help solve complex behavioral cases.
  • Partner with families in a collaborative and compassionate manner to support student success.

School-Wide Support

  • Promote positive behavior systems across the school.
  • Assist with crisis prevention and intervention strategies.
  • Align behavior supports with KIPP MA's mission of creating safe, joyful, and inclusive learning environments.
