Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in labor, preterm labor, triage, and low-risk antepartum settings across 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
- Perform and assist with circulating, scrubbing, pre-op, and post-op duties for OB-GYN and GYN surgical cases
- Attend all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries, and support couplet care and transition nursery as needed
- Administer blood and blood products, and manage specialized infusions including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment including epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, wound vac, and cooling/warming blankets
- Float to Post-Partum or NICU based on unit need and individual skill set
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Epic EMR experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
- Must be available to work 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
- All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification preferred
- Experience with high-risk OB patients and GYN surgical procedures
- Comfort and experience with NICU-level care or couplet care settings
