Travel EEG Technologist – Variable Shift
Location
Asheville, NC
Schedule / Job Type
Contract – Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Weekend and on-call rotation required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inpatient and outpatient EEG procedures across Neonatal, Pediatric, and Adult patient populations
- Conduct Long-Term Monitoring (LTM), ICU, and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) continuous EEG studies
- Operate Natus Xltek EEG equipment to acquire and document neurophysiological data
- Document and manage patient data accurately within Cerner Powerchart EMR
- Participate in rotating weekend and on-call coverage schedules as required by the unit
- Collaborate as part of a Clinical Neurophysiology Lab team to ensure quality patient care
Required Qualifications
- Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T.) certification required
- Neonatal and Pediatric EEG experience required
- Inpatient hospital experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an EEG Technologist
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with collodion electrode application
- 4 or more years of inpatient hospital EEG experience
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as a self-starter while functioning effectively within a team environment
