Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-Hour Shifts (Variable: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, or 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a hospital-based infusion center setting for patients with diagnoses including solid tumor cancers, lymphomas, chronic leukemia, iron deficiency, myelodysplastic syndrome, and neuro-oncology conditions
• Administer infusion therapies including intravesicular chemotherapy for bladder cancer and intrathecal chemotherapy
• Assist with specialized procedures including bone marrow aspirations
• Operate specialized equipment including blood warmers, Hoyer lifts, vein finders, ultrasound-guided IV machines, and interpreter devices
• Accurately document patient care activities using EPIC electronic medical records
• Float to alternate health system campuses as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Previous infusion center and outpatient oncology experience required
• BLS certification required
• ONS or ONCC certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed, required for all RNs regardless of specialty)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• OCN certification preferred
• Previous experience as a Charge RN preferred
