Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in an acute care hospital operating room setting, including trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgical cases
• Adapt to variable shift start times and float between like units or affiliate facilities as needed
• Participate in an on-call rotation distributed equally among nursing staff, which may include up to 6–8 on-call shifts per 6-week period across nights, evenings, and weekends
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health record system
• Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain patient safety and quality outcomes throughout the perioperative process

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid California RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience
• Experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgical specialties required
• Current BLS certification
• Willingness to work weekends and 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
• Proficiency with Epic charting system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care operating room environment
• Ability to adapt quickly to varying surgical service lines and team dynamics
