Key Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients in accordance with prescribed treatment plans
• Maintain a patient load consistent with departmental standards (approximately 20 patients per Radiation Therapist)
• Operate and monitor radiation therapy equipment to ensure accurate and safe delivery of treatments
• Document patient treatment records and report any changes in patient condition to the appropriate clinical staff
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to support patient care within a pediatric hospital environment

Required Qualifications

• Valid Texas Radiation Therapist license (compact license must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum of 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience
• Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify under travel compliance guidelines
• All requested time off must be disclosed upfront at time of submission
• Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a pediatric or children's hospital setting
• Familiarity with travel contract compliance requirements and onboarding processes
