Contract | Night Shift | 36 Hours per Week | 72 Guaranteed Hours Biweekly (excluding on-call time) | Every Third Weekend Rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret respiratory tests and procedures to assess and manage patient care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
- Work autonomously across a variety of clinical settings, including administration of respiratory care protocols
- Manage artificial airways and mechanical ventilation in Level 2 and Level 3 NICU and Special Care Nursery environments
- Administer aerosolized medications and provide oxygen therapy to neonatal and pediatric patients
- Participate in delivery room respiratory support as needed
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of related work experience required, with NICU experience required
- Current CPR certification (AHA) required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Certified to manage artificial airways, mechanical ventilation, aerosolized medication administration, and oxygen therapy
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Delivery room respiratory experience preferred
- Pediatric respiratory therapy experience considered in addition to NICU experience
