Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12-Hour Shifts) | Every other/third weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a 22-bed IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit with an average daily census of 20
• Manage common cases including burns, plastic/reconstructive surgery, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial surgeries
• Perform and assist with special procedures including burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC and administer medications via the Pyxis medication system
• Float within the facility as required to support staffing needs across units

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license) required at time of submission
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required
• Minimum 1 year of recent PCU/Stepdown experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role (charge RN acceptable for second reference; no coworker references)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with a similar patient population (burns, surgical, reconstructive)
• Previous charge RN experience
• Prior experience in a teaching hospital setting
