Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients requiring Medical Step-Down level of care
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognizing and responding to changes in clinical status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of critical care or step-down nursing experience
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association only
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association only
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or professional nursing certification recognized by the Magnet Association
- 2 or more years of critical care or step-down nursing experience
