Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery and Antepartum unit with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Circulate and recover patients undergoing C-sections in OR suites
- Float as needed to the Family Care (Mother/Baby) unit with an assignment, and serve as helping hands in other units as directed
- Meet weekend requirements of three weekend shifts per 4-week schedule and pick up one additional on-call shift per 4-week schedule
- Participate in facility orientation, including EPIC EMR training, with the opportunity to test out of training upon arrival
Required Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license or valid Compact RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery specialty experience
- Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification, or ability to pass an ECG fetal monitoring competency test
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR; strong ECG interpretation skills and immediate newborn care experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an LDRP or Mother/Baby setting
- Familiarity with high-volume delivery environments (facilities performing approximately 4,000+ deliveries annually)
