Echo / Ultrasound Sonographer – Radiology/Cardiology (OB/GYN & Perinatal Focus)

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (8-Hour Shifts, Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform perinatal ultrasound scanning for high-risk pregnancies, including Level 2 detailed fetal anatomical surveys, early anatomies, growth assessments, biophysical profiles (BPP), and nuchal translucency (NT) scans
• Conduct OB/GYN ultrasound procedures across all trimesters, including amniotic fluid index measurements, placenta previa evaluation, and MCA/UA Dopplers
• Perform neonatal head and heart imaging as well as general abdominal ultrasound studies including abdominal aorta and appendix
• Operate GE ultrasound equipment and document studies accurately using EPIC and Viewpoint systems
• Provide outpatient ultrasound services for adolescent and adult patient populations with diagnoses including chronic hypertension, gestational diabetes, fetal growth restriction, and fetal abnormalities

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of sonography experience required
• ARDMS OB/GYN certification required
• BLS certification required
• Demonstrated experience in high-risk OB and obstetrics settings
• Proficiency with GE ultrasound equipment required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records required
• NC or Compact nursing/sonography license required (pending licensure acceptable at time of submission)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with fetal echocardiography and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) scanning
• Portable ultrasound experience
• General ultrasound skills including liver, pancreas, spleen, and pediatric abdomen/pelvis
• Small parts ultrasound experience including breast ultrasound, thyroid, testicles/scrotum, and superficial masses; renal/pelvic imaging including bladder, ovaries, uterus, and vaginal studies; and procedural experience such as amniocentesis
