Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Document patient information and care activities accurately within the EPIC electronic medical records system
• Float within the hospital as needed based on unit staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license or valid Compact State RN license (must be active or at minimum pending with a clear estimated date of issue)
• Minimum of 2 years of Registered Nurse experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (must be issued through the American Heart Association)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Recent hands-on experience with EPIC EMR
• Must reside more than 40 miles from the facility (travel compliance requirement); valid driver's license required for address verification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS and/or PALS certifications (must be issued through the American Heart Association and remain current throughout the duration of the contract)
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
