Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | No Call Requirements | 4 Weekend Shifts Per Month
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 28-bed Medical Surgical unit with patient ratios of 5:1 to 6:1
- Operate and monitor unit equipment including Telemetry, Video EEG, Hoyer Lift, Bladder Scanner, and Vital Sign Machines
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with charge nurses, fellow RNs, and PCTs across day shift staffing model
- Adhere to unit guidelines, dress code, and facility policies throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- NIHSS certification
- Telemetry competency
- Minimum of 1 year of hospital-based nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 3 or more years of nursing experience
- Experience with epilepsy care
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR
