LVN / LPN – LTAC Float Pool

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend required | Every other holiday required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Float across multiple units including LTAC, LTC, skilled nursing, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry, locked Behavioral Health, rehabilitation, and Stepdown/PCU as assigned
• Provide direct patient care to both medical and Behavioral Health patient populations within LVN/LPN scope of practice
• Apply behavior-management techniques when caring for patients with degenerative disorders and schizophrenia-spectrum disorders on locked units
• Adapt to varying patient acuity levels and staffing assignments based on unit needs
• Complete facility orientation across multiple units (24 hours of orientation provided across 4 of 5 units)
• Adhere to strict time and attendance policies; zero tolerance for tardiness and unexcused absences

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland LVN/LPN license (or Compact license) required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of LVN/LPN experience required
• Experience in locked-unit care, LTAC, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry, and skilled nursing required
• Behavioral Health experience including behavior-management techniques required
• BLS certification required
• Must be comfortable floating within scope across medical and behavioral health units

Preferred Experience / Skills

• LTAC experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Cerner and PointClickCare electronic health record systems preferred
