Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab

Contract | Travel | Days | 4 x 10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and circulate during Cath Lab and/or EP procedures in an 11-room procedural environment (5 cath, 4 EP, 2 hybrid OR)
• Provide direct patient care at a 1:3 patient-to-staff ratio alongside Cath/EP Techs and RNs
• Support a broad range of Cath Lab procedures including diagnostic, PCI, Rotoblator, laser atherectomies, ECMO, TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, IVUS, FFR, complex PCI, CTO, Shockwave, and Penumbra
• Support EP Lab procedures including EP studies, pacemakers, ICDs, ablations, Micra pacemakers, loop recorders, and laser lead extractions
• Document accurately using Merge Hemo and Meditech systems
• Float to prep and recovery areas as needed per unit floating policy

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (applicable state)
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab and/or EP Lab experience
• Demonstrated ability to monitor and circulate in Cath Lab and/or EP procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with GE and Philips X-ray systems, Volcano IVUS/FFR, and Merge Hemo documentation
• Familiarity with complex, high-acuity Cath Lab procedures such as ECMO, TAVR, and CTO interventions
• Experience in EP procedures including laser lead extractions and Micra pacemaker implantation
