Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to a diverse patient population across all surgical specialties including Neuro, Ortho, Thoracic, Urology, Gynecology, Plastics, Peripheral Vascular, and Pediatrics
• Monitor and manage high-acuity and critical care patients, including intubated patients, in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma Center PACU
• Participate in on-call coverage, averaging 12–24 hours per 6-week schedule block, including one holiday shift per contract
• Float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities as required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient transitions from the OR through recovery

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Indiana or a Compact license (must be in hand prior to start date)
• Minimum 2 years of PACU or relevant clinical experience
• Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS/BCLS certifications required
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records
• Nursing degree from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ICU or PCU background strongly preferred
• Experience caring for Pediatric surgical patients
• Comfort working in a large, high-volume, high-acuity facility with diverse surgical specialties
